I Dr. P.K Govind founded this Karthik Foundation in the memory of my son Master Karthik K Govind. On knowing the necessity of an educational institution in this locality, along with the other trustees I have toiled day and night to establish “Kamala group of Institutions”.

- Our college is attached to well reputed and multi- Specialty hospitals.
- Our students are exposed to all the specialty areas like Medical – Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Midwifery, and Child Health Nursing.
- Sreenivasa Hospital ( Parental hospital), Fortis Healthcare, Spandana Hospital, Srirampura BBMP Referral Hospital, Kengeri Primary Health Centre and Cottonpet Urban Health Centre are where our students go for their clinical practice.
- Anatomy lab is the most important lab in nursing labs. It consists of Human skeleton, bones, Organ models, specimens and charts. It creates to gain knowledge about Human organs in excellent way.
- Fundamental of nursing lab is the basic foundation lab in art of nursing labs. It exposes all equipments which are using for give care to patients in practical way. It will guide students to improve knowledge to assess the patient care effectively and efficiently..
- MCH lab is the laboratory where the students can learn the basic skills of maternal and child health care. It contains various instruments, models and maternal charts to practice the conduction of labour. The aim is to achieve excellent and basic knowledge related to mother and child heath before getting expose to hospital and community area.
- “Nutrition & Health” .Nutrition is essential to maintain human optimal health. The nurses play an important role in diet planning towards effective care of the patient. The nutritional lab is the laboratory where the students can learn and prepare the normal and therapeutic diet with help of cooking materials which can be applied in the community as well as hospital.
- “ Books are reflection of Knowledge” .Library consists of more books which are most important related to nursing curriculum, journals both national and international and various language news papers. It has well ventilated, well lighted and adequate seating facility for the Comfort of students to refer books in Library. It has Helinet connection also.
- Computer lab consists of computers with high technology of Wi-Fi. It has adequate ventilation, lighting and comfort settings for easily access by students. It is connected by inverter during unavailable current period. It will encourage the students to touch with world in hand by modified internet facility.
- Good hostel facilities are provided for girls within the campus. As it is a girls college only.
- Hygienic food, comfortable stay with 24 hours water, electricity, and security , along with recreation facilities are provided.
- The hostel administrative warden and the students should abide should by the rules and regulations of the hostel.
Activities
KCS celebrated the 69th Independence Day with patriotic fervour. Colourful was the venue with tricolour balloons and vibrant flowers. The Dean of Kamala College of management studies, Mrs Ramya, the Prinicipal of Karthik Pre-University college Prof. Sadhasivaradhya, the Principal of Kamala college of management studies Prof. Sathya Narayanappa and the Principal of Kamal central school Mrs. Sujatha.N grace the occasion.
Prof, Sadhasivaradhya hoisted the flag and enthralled the gathering by his speech on ” The role of students in building a healthy nation”. The students of X std laid emphasis on national integration by giving speech in Kannada, Hindi and English.
Songs by our music troupe spiced up the occasion. The highlight of the day were the breathtaking yoga stunts by the students of high school.
The Principal of KCS thanked the chairman Dr. P.K Govind and the management for their unconditional and wholehearted support in organising the function. The students dispersed with sweets and sweet memories of the day.
The 7th Inaugural Day function of Kamala Krishna Royale Nursing College was held on 22-07-2016 at the college premises. The venue was full of zeal and excitement with the fresher’s and their parents being welcomed by the senior students. The students were excited to get started. The programme started with the motivational speech given by the honourable Founder Chairman, Dr. P. K Govind. He explained the importance of education in a student’s life & encouraged the students to have personality development in every sphere of life. Then the hon’ble secretary welcomed the students and parents for the inaugural function and shared the importance of nursing course being the noble profession. The function was presided by the College Dean Dr. Ramya, R. Chief Guest Dr. Kiran Kumar (Senate Member, RGUHS), Guest Of Honor Prof. Shivananda Principal Of BMS (Hospital Nursing College), Sri. Rajendra Kumar Under Secretary, Dept Of Forest Ecology, Karnataka Govt. Secretariat and Dr. Beliappa Retd. Principal Oxford College shared their experiences and motivated the student community by leading them in the right direction. Our treasurer Mrs. Nagarathna Govind made this event more memorable by formally inaugurating the function with lighting the lamp and by her active support. The students of Kamala College of Management Studies organised the inaugural function. Their active participation from the invitation designing, inviting the students and the parents, organising the food court, hospitality and the arrangements made till the end, concluded of the inaugural function in to a grand celebration. Teaching and non –teaching staff of KKRNC extended their full support for the smooth conduction of the function on time. The college principal applauded the efforts of the students & the teachers for making the event a huge success. She formally concluded the function by proposing the vote of thanks.
The Chairman of Karthik Foundation Dr. P.K. Govind organized a free medical health check-up camp on 28th February 2016, Sunday from9:30 am to 2:30 pm. The chief guest Sri P.C Mohan, the member of parliament inaugurated the camp and the other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Sri. Palani. P, the founder, Secretary of Isaac Newton English School, Sri Y. M. Uppin, N.S.S Officer, Dr. Kiran, RGUHS Senate Member, Dr. Srinivas N.S.S Co-ordinator, Bangaluru University. More than three hundred people from the locality thronged, who were carefully attended by the efficient team of doctors, headed by Dr. Vishnu. N. Hayagreev from Shree Maruthi Hospital. The students of Kamala Krishna Royale Nursing College and Kamala College of Management Studies took part on the health camp and assisted the doctor’s cipla supra care Mr. Dhananjan. V and the team provided free Respiratory and Hepatitis B screening for the public Paediatrics, Dental Check-up, Cardiac, O.B.G, Ophthalmology, General Medicine, Health Screen etc, were the facilities provided in the camp. The initiative taken by the Chairman Dr. P. K. Govind was highly appreciated and it was a grand success as it created awareness regarding common ailments, nutrition and hygiene among the people.
Food is the basic necessity of life, Humans realize that quantity at our health depends upon the nourishment that we provide to our body. Most people eat what they like or because it is a norm or out of habit their choice of food is not influenced by the awareness of its nutritive value. Our I year BS.C (N) Student’s are demonstrated the therapeutic diets to different disease condition such as diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Fever diet, Iron-rich diet, Protein-rich diet, created the awareness to the general public.
“LET’S STRIVE FOR A POLIO FREE INDIA”
Polio immunisation programme is organised by BBMP at 2165 booths including BBMP Referral Hospitals, Maternity Hospitals, Urban Family Welfare Centres, Health Centres, Dispensaries, Schools, Anganawadi Centres, Bus stands & Railway Stations on Sunday 17-01-2016 and 21-02-2016.
We are “Kamala Krishna Royale Nursing College” students under Karthik Foundation (R) proud to participate in Polio eradication programme.
Under Kamala Group of Institution Kamala Krishna Royale Nursing college students took part in Road Safety Program and Swatch Bharath Awareness Program on 12-01-2016 to create the awareness among the Public. On account of “Swami Vivekananda Jayanthi” Traffic Police Inspector Sri.Satish organised an rally with Solgans about the “Environmental Protection” and “Road Safety Measure”, Cottonpet, Bangalore.
Conducted blood camp on 2014 by Kamala Group of Institution. All students actively participated and donated blood voluntarily and motivated participants towards importance of blood donation.
Traffic awareness programme conducted on 2014 by KARTHIK foundation and awareness made to students towards importance of traffic rules and regulations. The students given nice cooperation for successfully completion of programme.
Students had a good exposure to cultural activities during the 10th Annual day of Karthik foundation conducted on 22nd Feb 2014.

Kerala students celebrated Onam festival in college campus with great enjoyment .Onam is very important festival in Kerala and strengthening Hindustic religious beliefs towards devotion of goodness. Health Exhibition Conducted by karthik foundation on the basis of importance of healthy living. Regular checkups (B.P, BMI, and EYE) have been conducted by the students to the visitors at the same day.
Visit On 25/07/2015 To The Vidyara Buddivikalachitana Makkala Vasathiya School ( Ngo) Along With Nursing Staff & Students And Vision Group Students. Main Motto Beehind Visiting This Ngo Basically To Give A Social Rapo To The Nursing Students With Different Area Of Mentally Challanged Childrens Of 24 Members… The Visit Was Very Useful And Joyful Which Resulted In Satisfaction For Our Profesion. We Would Like To Thank Management And Vision Group Student For Arranging This Wonderful Visit.
As a part of Nursing Curriculum, Students had been visited to Modern Food ltd., at Yeshwantpur on 28-1-2016. Students were explored to individual sections of Food Industry and got idea of Nutritional facts.
Placements and Infrastructure
Job placement for students will be conducted by well high- tech hospitals such as Cloud nine, sager hospital and Bangalore hospital and tie-up made with abroad hospitals situated in U K & U S A,MC ALLEN HEART&CLINICS without Contract Basis.
It has been constructed very well and it is located in the heart of city and walk able distance from city bus stand and city railway station. It has well equipped smart class rooms and lab facilities with well trained professional teachers.
